> Arrived at McLeans Island bike park We are being told to conserve water I find at least 6 hoses/sprinklers going - some even watering the asphalt!! This is ridiculous to say the least - its not on wen we are very dry in Canterbury and it is NOT necessary to be watering land tht is surrounded by dry ground - what is the point of this please.
