We had a fantastic experience at this branch. Even though our appointment was originally scheduled for 9:30am, we missed it because our flight was delayed and we only managed to arrive later in the afternoon. Despite this, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and they still did their best to help us. Our appointment had only been booked for one person, but they kindly helped both me and my partner open our bank accounts. The whole process was impressively quick and efficient — within about 45 minutes we were completely set up, with our accounts opened and our bank cards already
Alessandra Longa, 4 months agoI rarely leave bad reviews, but my recent visits to ANZ have been consistently frustrating. The service is incredibly slow. Staff seem disinterested and disengaged, offering minimal assistance and often appearing more focused on chatting with each other than helping clients. Simple tasks take far longer than they should, and there’s little sense of urgency or customer care. It feels like the bare minimum is being done — no warmth, no effort to make the experience smooth. Honestly expected better from a major bank. Definitely reconsidering my options.
JYT, a year agoCan’t believe such a big bank and I guess one of the biggest branch in Christchurch but sorry to say very disappointed with the services and attitude of their staff here. Unfortunately after my local branch closed few years ago and this is my closest branch now and I really never felt like my bank. There is hardly more then 1or 2 counters open also though so many Asian girls floating around to make you feel welcomed but rather want them to open the counter so people don’t have to wait and get going on with their businesses.
