Corrections

Everything this section has published that later turned out wrong, kept rather than quietly replaced. The entry is what it said, what it says now, and who caught it, because a record of mistakes is the credential the rest of the site rests on. Spotted one that is not here? File it on GitHub, the door is open to anybody.

Nothing has needed correcting yet. When something does, the mistake and its fix will both stay here, together.

How a correction works here

A correction is a replacement with the evidence kept, not a quiet edit, the wrong words stay beside the right ones. What gets a row: a fact the page asserted that was wrong, a date, a name, a boundary, a number. What does not: a source refreshing underneath a page, which is the record updating itself rather than being corrected.

The door is open in both directions. File one on GitHub with the label correction, or write to stemmermerlin@gmail.com , a claim with a source attached travels fastest. Every entry names who caught it, including the desk itself.
