The reporter’s words
Erosion in Beachville Reserve. There is an increasing erosion problem in Beachville Reserve with loss of ground and exposure of the previous defences of matting and concrete. We estimate that the reserve has been eroded by about a metre in places by wave action in the last couple of years. This has got noticeably worse recently. Please could you arrange for assessment, repair and replanting before it gets any worse. Many thanks.
