The reporter’s words
Re Incident 277752 reported last week. Here is a photo of the track. It is now almost impassable by foot and impossible by bikes which just get bogged. You state it will be resolved by 21/7. This is far too long when it is a simple solution - a visit to the contractors to rectify this or provide an alternative - this could either be shingle on the area or cutting back the scrub and blackberry at the edge to allow a wide enough access way. Contractors have an obligation to allow access and I’m sure if this was a footpath in an urban area they would have been required to do so immediately- this is a public walkway and the same rules should apply. Please attend to this with urgency. Other parts of the walkway ate also becoming progressively worse and require shingle to repair the damage.
