Roading/Streets

Reported Saturday, 18 July 2020 at 3:41 pm, 1036 Colombo Street, St Albans, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.

The reporter’s words

Last night (i.e. in the dark) I was a passenger in a vehicle parked outside the fish and chip shop at 1040 Colombo Street. Upon returning to the car with a box full of food, I missed spotting the gap in the curbing on the east side of the cycleway and sprained my ankle. Is it possible to install a pvc pipe or something (to maintain drainage?) and cover the gaps in the curbing? Surely the health and safety isn't being mitigated at all currently.
