The reporter’s words

This corner was only sealed a week or two ago and mud and debris is already flowing over the corner because no retaining or filter matting or any such remedy was included in the clean up. It was simply cut back and left bare. This means it is already collapsing and causing a hazard for pedestrians. Particularly the many active senior citizens and pram pushers in the area as this is a main thoroughfare to play centre, the village and the ferry wharf. It is also a dangerous corner to end up on the road as vehicles have low visibility and often travel at speed round these corners. (Above posted limits.)
