Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 21 August 2020 at 4:47 pm, 246 Sparks Road, Halswell, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The people that live here, have a bunch of cars. They drive with excessive speed around the neighbourhood. Have heard them doing burnouts regularly. They use the road outside their house as a burnout pad. You can see how many skidmarks there are, including on the new cycleway. Probably more of a police issue, but I have no proof of the offenses. Think the council would have some say given that they are potentially damaging the road in front of the property.
