Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 31 August 2020 at 2:40 pm, Claridges Road, Casebrook, Canterbury, 8051, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Consideration of give way sign and road marking? On the intersection when heading south on gardiners road with a left turn onto Claridges Road - cars often whizz through there and don’t realise there is other onturning traffic they need to give way to. Sometimes they cut off traffic turning from gardiners road travelling north and turning right into claridges road. Now that highsted subdivision has grown in size and the area is much busier, this is a hazard that could be mitigated through the use of road painted markings and a give way sign or at least an assessment of the junction? For consideration, thanks
