The reporter’s words

Hello.

Can you please send someone out to Brooklands Lagoon to fix the driveway into the water area, the track that leads from the road/drive in area & boat ramp to the parking area has been fully destroyed by the people that have come along and put up fence pegging around the empty section not only has it destroyed the driving path it has cut off parking so now there is not enough room for all the cars that turn up to use the water. I am guessing there big trucks were to much for the dry dirt and have just got stuck with every wheel spin making bigger and bigger holes and now They are such big massive holes in the dirt which is making cars and trailers with boats and jetskis on them get suck in the hole as to back into the boat ramp you may need to go up to it, if you hit the hole the wrong way you get very stuck, they are getting bigger and bigger as it is very dangerous, Not just to cars and trailers but children and people as well. This needs to be fixed asap to stop causing further damage, the toilets are now also out of order (hopefully not because of these "freedom campers") Please send someone down to repair the road. And please feel free to put a better boat ramp in as well as this water area is now getting used by a lot more people . I see all the good work the council does around chch but i think Brooklands is in some serious need of some TLC from the Christchurch City Council.
