Trees - General
Reported Thursday, 15 October 2020 at 6:10 pm, 32, Lees Road, Strowan, Canterbury, 8052, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A sycamore tree inside Bryndwr Court by the first house on left. It sheds its seeds with any southerly all over the roofs and gardens of 30 A and 30 B Lees Road for months. These seeds go into my pool, gardens and between all the paving tiles throughout my section. They then grow between pavers and throughout my garden. I am a keen gardener and have to sweep the whole yard every day until the end of Spring to stop them from growing. I am 81 and it’s an enormous task for me. I would like this huge tree removed so I can have a better life. My neighbour at the back has told me she gets it throughout her property. Thanks Sonya Knapp
