The reporter’s words
The city care worker is using a weed eater to completely cut the grass from the river bank along Ashgrove Tce. The river is full of grass, which is an environmental disgrace. My understanding is that the banks were to be allowed to stay grassed to avoid this. Please follow up and ensure that our rivers aren’t polluted in this way.
