A large motorboat has been abandoned at the Purau slipway for more than a year. The owner of the boat and CCC have been contacted numerous times by locals and have been asked to remove the vehicle. The boat takes up valuable parking space, which is particularly needed during the busy summer period. Will CCC remove the vehicle? If not, does this mean that locals can erect structures like boat shed or containers on that stretch of public land?
