Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 18 March 2016 at 3:09 pm, 1, Rochdale Street, Fendalton, 8014, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
I am writing to question the allowing of a funeral parlour being operated on the corner of Straven Road and Rochdale Street which is a quiet residential area. There is virtually no spare parking and the intersection into Straven Road almost impossible to turn right at some times of the day. Signage has been erected on the fence. I am told this is a non consented use. How is it possible for this commercial operation to take place in an obviously residential area?
