Roading/Streets
Reported Sunday, 1 November 2020 at 12:26 pm, 88, Disraeli Street, Addington, Canterbury, 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hello! I’m a cyclist and I’m convinced the traffic signals are programmed wrong at this intersection. I often bike this way, down Antigua St, on Sundays. Very little traffic. Almost without fail, I will approach the intersection with the traffic lights green and as soon as I go over the diamonds, the lights go amber and stop. For continuity, can’t the bike light go or stay on green or the bike trigger the left turn to stop and let the cyclists and main traffic continue through?
