Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 9 November 2020 at 7:56 am, Durham Street South, Canterbury 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Under the Durham St over bridge there are parking spaces that have generally been for public use. I use this on a semi regular basis. Sometime since Wednesday someone has made half of them "reserved". I suspect this was Spotlight so to be used as staff parking. Surely this is not allowed as since under the bridge would technically be counsel land? It is also very selfish and detracts from others using this spot. This should be free use for anyone using Spotlight or Midway on Moorhouse or anything in the area as it has been for years. Could someone visit this sight and confirm this is the case and have the reserved sounds removed? TIA
