General Request
Reported Friday, 20 November 2020 at 8:01 am, CPVP+8H Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The council flats have been fitted with a floodlight that is causing light pollution to the neighbouring residencies. It is not PIR controlled and therefore emits a high intensity light continuously from early evening until late at night. The light 'lights up' our lounge - we are approx 200m away. Please could you see if the light could be better directed, ie downwards, or even better, have a PIR control appkied so that it only lights up when rhere is movement in the vacinity. Many thanks. Tony at 97 Beachville Rd.
