The reporter’s words
The iconic sundial has been placed by dcl since the playground has been built and has been under a shade tree (its a SUNdial) and turned so that it tells the wrong time!? It's the most simple and ingenious clock thousands of years old and our council orgs fail to grasp the basics of how it works and we are teaching children a failure as well as showing visitors how stupid Christchurch is. It's too heavy for three people to move and over the years dcl flat ignored plees to put it right.
