Roading/Streets
Reported Thursday, 26 November 2020 at 12:32 pm, CPJQ+4R Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
12 of the 16 or so young trees planted in the rain gardens along Oxford Tce between Worcester Tce and Armagh St are tilting due to inadequate rootball embedment and poor staking. The rootballs are insecure and the trees can be rotated by hand. Recommend a competent contractor reinstall the trees and stakes properly to maintain verticality until the trees establish. Potentially this is a defect under Otakaro's DLP?
