Hello, I had send in a post over a year ago and just was looking for an update. Cashmere Primary is located on a very busy street. There is no crossing from our house on the Kiteroa side to get to the school. I was told that it was to expensive and not a priority to improve or at the very least create a safe crossing for primary school students to use. Fine. However this sign has been broken for over a year (photo attached from November 2019). Traffic drives way to fast down this section of road and there is no indication that it is a school zone. If there isn’t the budget to improve the safety of this road for our children then at the very least please put a sign up for the school zone speed limit. Many thanks.
