Reported Wednesday, 20 January 2021 at 12:49 pm, 3 Highcrest Heights, Westmorland, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Wire rope broken at entrance to Highcrest Reserve. Reserve has just been mowed, and normally wire rope is taken down, by unlocking padlock to allow mower access. Today, however, wire rope has been snapped (by vehicle perhaps?). Padlocked end is still secure.
