The reporter’s words

Over the last year the council via contractors has progressively removed plants from the corner berns around our Prestons subdivision, we understand that in some instances this was because they had grown too high and limited vision however these plants need replacing with something more suitable, the spreading of the bark has been good but the plants need replacing. Dispite a multitude of letters to the council re the state of the parks within the subdivision nothing has ever changed, Muka Park and other areas remain in paddock like states with the quality of grass and garden areas deteriating rapidly. We sre hopeful that some remediation work should be carried out. Regards Warren Yardley
