Roading/Streets
Reported Sunday, 5 June 2016 at 5:22 pm, 6–14, Snell Place, Dallington, 8061, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Hi there, The barriers used in Dallington to stop people driving through the red zone are not working, this afternoon when I was out walking we saw four cars drive through, and one speeding at around 80km down through Hallberg & Snell. When are you going to permanently close these roads?! Yes I understand emergency services need to get through, and that's why they should be locked with metal gates like what is used on the paddocks. Leaving them like this is opening it up like a race track for boy racers, people to get drunk an dump their bottles, and makes it slippery an unsafe to walk through. What are you going to propose to fix this?
