Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 6 June 2016 at 11:10 am, 206, Rutland Street, Saint Albans, 8052, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Entrance to new Rutland st cycle path. Cars frequently trim this bend (heading east) putting cyclists turning right onto the cycle way off Rutland st in a vulnerable position. I realise work is not yet complete here but it's currently in a dangerous state. Can we get yellow poles in the road centre as an interim measure? Or have the footpath (currently marked with a pedestrian) turned into shared/multi use? I've seen a number of close calls on this corner - would be great to see it resolved.
