Roading/Streets
Reported Saturday, 13 March 2021 at 5:39 pm, Summit Road, Teddington, Canterbury, 8971, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Le Race is due to use this road on 20/3/20 There is a large amount of loose gravel on the road surface particularly on corners that will pose a risk to many cyclists. The signs warning of loose chip seal here and along top of summit road have been removed after the roadworks were completed last Friday. The road needs to be swept again this week for the safety of riders. The greatest risk is for the downhill side of the road approximately 2km north of Gebbies Pass to the point where it meets Gebbies Pass. There is also a 2km section on the summit road that has the similar issue.
