Roading/Streets

The reporter’s words
This is parent with prams parking and disability parking on level one at Hornby Mall. The curb needs to be removed so prams and wheelchair users can get into the mall without having to walk behind cars and along the driveway to get to the only level access to get into the mall......this is not the only mobility and parents with prams parking that this occurs at in Christchurch. Please CCC - sort this out! What is the point of having these parking spaces when the users then have to wheel themselves or be pushed down roads and into traffic ways to get to a point where they can get up onto the footpath!!! There should be no curbs where these parks are available so the shops, health organisations etc that they are supposedly having easy access to ARE ACTUALLY easily accessible. Thank you.
