Roading/Streets
Reported Thursday, 28 July 2016 at 10:56 am, 1, Show Place, Addington, 8024, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
As a result of the Show Place/Whiteleigh Ave intersection improvements there now exists a pinch point for cyclists and the first parked car (see photo). With the island, vehicles now cannot give as much room as they were previously able to, and the way the road curves may potentially cause drivers to get closer to cyclists than the recommended safe distance. In the photo the car is legally parked. I believe that car park should be removed for safety. Thanks, Allan Taunt.
