Flooding
Reported Saturday, 29 May 2021 at 1:46 pm, 77, Marine Parade, North New Brighton, Canterbury, 8083, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
To whom it may concern As previously raised the drainage outfall at cygnet st has been neglected and is currently blocked. The outfall needs to be cleared urgently! It is currently low tide and there has been minimal rain this morning yet it is already beginning to flood. I am concerned properties will be flooded tonight with severe rainfalls predicted to occur at around high tide tomorrow morning. Doing nothing about this when a significant weather event has been well forecasted seems irresponsible and negligent. Kind regards
