The reporter’s words

The pavement in the green circled area is broken as it was never finished during the cycleway construction. I have done questions: (1) The angle of the yellow bats in the circled area implies you can cross diagonally on your bike as illustrated. However there is not a bike light on the poles diagonally opposite as you might expect. Three is nothing on the Steel and Tube side to suggest diagonally crossing in the opposite direction is allowed or encouraged. What is intended here? (2) Is the crossing off the Steel and Tube driveway controlled in any way? The driveway has lights like a road but there are no pedestrian or cycle lights. (3) Crossing from the left of the Steel and Tube driveway to Hanson's Lane is presumably controlled by the lights and not allowed when the bike signal is red. However the (misspelt) sign says cyclists can give way to turning traffic and there is a corresponding red bordered sign instructing people in cars to give way to people on bikes. What is intended here? I'd appreciate getting the seal fixed and having my questions answered.
