Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 6 August 2021 at 8:10 am, 410 Lincoln Road, Canterbury 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The yellow footpath sensor for the pedestrian crossing over Lincoln Rd is faulty. A few seconds after pushing the button and standing on the yellow pad the red man light goes off and the cycle of cars carries on. It's been faulty for a couple of weeks, I've seen others as well as myself needing to keep pushing the button to remind it we're there in order to get across Lincoln Rd.
