The reporter’s words
ATTENTION NEVILLE TUCKER This is the 3rd email I have sent regarding PUBLIC SAFTEY of these 16 pillars (4 sets of 4) that sit either side of the both entries of Hampton Grange Glen Oaks Drive Northwood. Each time I have emailed I have sent new photos of tiles & masonry falling from the pillars. I would like the following done before there is injury to persons by the falling masonry - someone must be accountable for these structures. Having now documented several times about the risk these pillars now pose it can no longer be a case of not knowing and more a case of not wanting to know. I expect all 16 pillars to be checked & all tiling & masonry to firmly adhered & made safe. The same can be said of the pillar pergola in June Street. Concrete caps in the two highest pillars (8 in total) would assist us greatly in keeping the pillars weed free. We have at our own expense planted roses in the two lower pillars that are accessible & easier to keep tidy & attractive. I believe the deteriorating masonry is a real risk to persons & needs URGENT attention. Please feel free to contact me at any stage should you wish. Sheryn Linton 0212691787
