The reporter’s words
On Friday a team of in hi-vis arrived with a digger and several trucks/vehicles and started digging up the footpaths around the cul de sac where Mr Mitchell lives. No notice has been given about what is happening, just a notes few weeks ago to say power will be out 29/30 September. Me Mitchell has suffered a stroke and is wobbly on his feet so I asked the guys what they were doing (and whether I needed to move the car). They assured me that any holes would be covered and they were digging holes/trenches in prep for the work coming up on 29/30 September. After they went for the day they left road cones and signs beside on car on the grass berm. Monday morning - still there.
