The reporter’s words

These are all long standing tags. On the Railway crossing on Whitleigh Ave. The tags stretch down the Railway line as far as you can see. Why cant Kiwi Rail even cone up with a plan to at least remove tags from the immediate intesection area (first 80 metres either side). That would at least make these tags less visible to road users (drivers, cyclists, pedestrians). Many Christchurch road and rail intersections are like this. Sone of the central city ones are appalling. Is this what we want our city to look like? With a bit of planning and coordination Kiwi Rail and the CCC must be able to do something? This tagging issue will not go away by doing nothing. Thanks.
