Hi, I work at Environment Canterbury and we've had this message (see below) about dead animals at McLeans Island through our Facebook channels on Friday from Lyndal Donnelly. I've let Lyndal know that I'll pass it on to the right people, which I think is you. Regards, Diane Dinnis diane.dinnis@ecan.govt.nz "Hi Ecan - bit of a grisly disco on our walk today - out McLeans island near the new bike path from hump to the bike path. Possums, hare, rabbits (assume) shot an piled up not far from bike path. My lab was off lead and found them. Also several plover birds also killed and left.
