Water Supply
Reported Sunday, 31 October 2021 at 6:33 pm, 23 Kingrove Street, Bishopdale, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
City care repaired a broken water pipe on 30 Oct outside 15 Kingrove street. There was no notification of water shutdown and when switched on. When water came back it was muddy brown. My recollection of the water supply protection regs pipes are required to be flushed and chlorinated after repair to the satisfaction of the medical officer of health. This was clearly not done.
