Parks

The reporter’s words
The favourite site for all the local children to ride their bikes, play games and enjoy the view has been decimated, removed by possibly well-meaning but short-sighted council staff, based on policies which do not prioritize wild and natural places for children. I had previously emailed the council to explain how wonderful this hill and park is for our local neighborhood kids. It has obviously fallen on deaf ears. I am very sad that our wild and fun space is being made Neat and Tidy and Boring like the rest of our very suburban space. So sad for the kids.
