The reporter’s words
Nottingham Stream between O’Halloran Dve & Candys Rd has developed a Giant Hogwort issue. This plant has never been seen in this area until now, assume seeds have come down the stream during a heavy rain/stream flood event & cultivated in the banks. An elderly neighbour pulled some out a couple of days ago, which resulted in significant blistering & skin reaction, requiring urgent medical treatment and resulting in months ahead of skin recovery. This stuff is NASTY, big, easily populated and needs to be removed urgently before it flowers and seeds. Please log an urgent request for action on this issue.
