The reporter’s words
There are large fallen branches from 2 trees in Somerfield park near our boundary. We are concerned during the wind that our new fence/sleepout (both pictured) could get damaged. The broken plum tree is fully on council land and the Poplar is half on council land and half our Neighbours land. Previously we raised this tree as a danger due to its height and thick ivy covering it. We would appreciate if CCC can work with the property owner to trim/remove the tree or treat the ivy. It’s a hazard in the wind and blocks sun due to its height. Thanks, Rebekah
