Parks
Reported Tuesday, 22 November 2016 at 9:40 am, Saint Albans, 8014, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Malvern Park used to be a picturesque, much used and much loved park surrounded by chestnut trees. Today, apart from the rugby pitch (often in use), it is a health and safety hazard for the few who try to enjoy it. The very long grass surrounding the pitch contains hidden rubbish of all descriptions and it won't be long before someone is injured. I know I am not the first to lay this complaint, and as residents and rate payers we are very concerned and disappointed. The standard of work, by Parks and Recreation, is appalling and not only in Malvern but also in Abberley and Westminster Parks. May we please have our beloved parks back?
