Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 30 November 2021 at 4:53 pm, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Please provide safe crossing provision for pedestrians crossing Springfield road. It is very dangerous, very fast, there are no lights anywhere on the length of this road. Our staff and members who are blind or low vision are unable to cross safely to get to Blind Low Vision NZ office on Bristol Street. Also schools nearby and church, community centre and local shops. Traffic too heavy to make safe crossing decisions using hearing. Lights here would be great.
