The reporter’s words
Numerous dogs on Sumner beach including large dogs. More of the leash than on. Needs enforcement/fines for better behaviour. Asked one lady and her response was that everyone else does it. It would be great to have a spot where children can play without dogs around. Please ban them from this spot. There are plenty of other exercise opportunities for dogs nearby.
