Roading/Streets

Reported Thursday, 23 December 2021 at 8:52 am, Kahu Road, Riccarton, Canterbury, 8011, New Zealand.

The reporter’s words

The lights on the intersection of Clarence with Kahu / Kilmarnock stay green for Clarence for too long. The effect is that city bound traffic on Kahu Road gets backed up right up to the entrance to Riccarton bush. Even with schools and Uni closed for the year and with light traffic towards city, it sometimes takes 3-4 cycles for city bound traffic on Kahu to cross Clarence. Some reduction in the green phase of Clarence will help, without actually causing any issues for Clarence traffic. Kindly consider. Thanks
