The reporter’s words
Please could these 3 big concrete blocks be removed from the Godley House site? I am making this request on behalf of the Diamond Harbour Community Association group which has organised an outdoor sculpture exhibition over the summer. There are also free outdoor concerts at this site every Sunday starting in January. I made a request for service to have these blocks removed last year but it never happened. The Godley House site is Council-owned freehold but it is managed by the Parks Unit. Fulton Hogan is the local road maintenance contractor. They may be able to help. They already have a number of these blocks at their yard in Allandale. The blocks have been here since Godley House was in ruins. They were not taken away at the time of demolition.
