The reporter’s words
Hello Council person Happy new year ! I wonder if consideration can be given to installing some tactile pavers. (used to help people with vision problems navigate the city. ) I believe tactile pavers need to be installed on the footpath . It seems strange and very dangerous that the tactile pavers are only in the middle of the central refuge. I’m not clear how low vision or blind persons can find the footpath crossing point . Then safely navigate their way from the footpath across the road into central refuge where there are actually tactile pavers . ?? I do hope tactile pavers can be installed .
