Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 10 January 2022 at 6:38 pm, 17, Leslie Street, Upper Riccarton, Canterbury, 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This person has been soliciting money in the area where there are Asian shops near Church Corner Upper Riccarton. The lady in the photo has been soliciting money during December and currently. She approaches Asian people on the carpark and also knocks on car windows asking for money. Her ‘story’ is that she needs money for the bus. There are other professional beggars in the area. Could the Council please organise people to move these professional soliciting agents on. Maybe a trespass order would be appropriate.
