The reporter’s words
The attached photos were taken outside 32, 34, 41, 42 and 43 Emlyn place. They all show various amounts of damage to the footpath caused by tree roots. This is only the tip of the iceberg. We have lived here over 30 years and the footpath has been repaired on at least 4 occasions. There are a number of young families in the street now and it is only a matter of time before someone trips and injures themselves. Even though we are the garden city it might be time to remove the remaining trees in the street.
