The reporter’s words
This photo was taken outside my daughters house today. She tells me the oil appeared after the rubbish collection last Thursday 27 January. These oil stains appear along both sides of Greenwich St and several surrounding streets. If this is oil spilt by a Waste Management truck then serious action needs to be taken to prevent a recurrence. I've seen similar spills in the past but never as bad as this. This spill should also be reported to Environment Canterbury. If this is traced back to faulty equipment used by your contractor it is an inexcusable disgrace.
