The reporter’s words
There is a path and steps through private property at 33 Te Ara Crescent, Diamond Harbour. This path leads to a reserve but the landowner - me - is very frustrated that various conversations has not resulted in the steps and path being moved onto adjacent council land. The steps are damaged and dangerous, strangers are invited to walk through my garden, a local resident has become very threatening and intimidating to me after conversations that the illegal path would be moved. He continues to come into my garden, remove plants, remove council signs and disturbs my tranquility. Please resolve this permanently. Remove the steps and create new access points on council owned land.
