The reporter’s words

Would there be any chance of some yellow no parking lines on the Glandovey Rd /Garreg Rd intersection. Coming out of Garreg turning right onto Glandovey, heading up to Fendalton Rd, can be very difficult when cars are parked too close to the corner. So very hard to see oncoming traffic. At the moment it’s worse as there are trade vehicles outside the house on the corner, but most of the time it’s very difficult anyway. It’s the angle of Glandovey Rd as it turns that makes it very hard to see traffic when parked on Garreg. It’s something I’ve noticed for a while but now I have a son on his restricted licence who finds it very tricky and is very hesitant to move too far out onto Glandovey to improve his vision as he doesn’t want to be in the way. Whenever there are cars parked between the last driveway & the corner, it’s almost impossible to see what’s coming without moving quite a wee way out. Thank you for your consideration - Angela Howard
