These photos show the reserve runnimg past my property and pavement at that part of the road. Each month the weeds are worse. Considering what it cost to build in this 'prime' position and the rates we pay I do think a better attempt could be made at weed control. Aged over 70, I fight a never ending battle with enroaching weeds and have to dig them out in my borders, and where possible poison them. Perhaps as I gather poisoning weeds is not possible by those doing the work, these young men could get stuck in and dig them out and remove them, not leave them in a pile by my property as happened with the hedge trimmings?
